A wonderful large late 19th century Meiji period cloisonne charger depicting a beautifully drawn pair of peacocks on a blue ground surrounded by peonies and bamboo, the border with further floral motifs and birds. The rear also enamelled with further floral motifs and engraved with  typical swirling patterns throughout.
